We visited the North Yorkshire Goldsborough Hall for the first time on 16 February 2014 for one of their new "Snowdrop Days". This 17th century mansion is the former home of HRH Princess Mary and has a series of trees planted by royalty including King George V and Queen Mary. The house is now an extremely luxurious hotel run by the rather charming Mark and Clare Oglesby who with their daughter were hosts for the day.

|Goldsborough Hall is a pretty house at any time though we were fortunate with the weather.|
|Aconites, snowdrops and hellebores are exceptionally well grown here by people who know their plants.|
